Traditional ingredients go perfectly with spicy Korean ramen, balancing the heat and giving the dish a full Asian flavor:
- Coconut milk – a secret trick to soften extreme heat, transforming a sharp broth into a luxurious, delicately creamy sauce.
- Seaweed – crispy sheets of Nori seaweed are a traditional Korean addition that adds a salty umami accent to noodles.
- Bubble tea and Milky tea – sweet milky teas act as an instant rescue and are great at neutralizing the "fire" in your mouth while eating.
- Soy sauces – a few drops of quality soy sauce will further develop and connect the flavors of spicy instant seasoning.
- Non-alcoholic drinks – refreshing Korean milk soda Milkis or coconut water are a must-have for every spicy food lover.
💡 Foodland Tip: For an authentic Korean experience, add a slice of cheese, an egg, and a handful of spring onions to the hot noodles right after they're cooked.
